Ariel Sheffield Crowned Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor

Miss Gettys Hall Ariel Sheffield of Roanoke, Texas, was crowned 2011 Miss Mary Hardin-Baylor, Saturday, November 13, in the annual Miss MHB Pageant at the university. The theme of this year’s pageant is “Beautiful.”
Sheffield is a 20-year-old junior psychology major and the daughter of Robert and Sally Sheffield. She is the captain of the university’s Sader Belles Drill Team. Her platform was “seeing beauty in all of His beloved.”

Sheffield was crowned on Saturday by the reigning Miss MHB Rachel Jaster.

First runner up was Miss Student Government Landra Davidson, a junior from Clyde. Second runner up was Miss Student Foundation Ashleigh Holden, a sophomore from Plano; third runner up was Miss Beall Hall Kate Winchell, a sophomore from Twin Peaks, California; and fourth runner up was Miss Senior Class Lindsay Meglen, a senior from Corpus Christi.
