Jacob Tatum ’09

Jacob Tatum ’09 was on his third day on the job as a Temple Police Officer in June when he received word that a 1-year-old girl was choking on a barrette. Tatum was able to dislodge the barrette and the infant began breathing. She was taken to a local hospital where she was treated and later released. Tatum is credited with saving the infant’s life.
