Mike LeFan ’70
Mike LeFan ’70 passed away March 20 in Temple. He fell ill with polio when he was eight years old. Although he could not walk or move his arms and legs, he could move the toes on his left foot, which he used to hold a pencil, paint brush, and telegraph key. He was a proficient Morse code operator. He typed 40 words a minute on his computer and had one of the finest vocabularies imaginable. He wrote four books and received numerous recognitions and honors.
