Patricia LaNeil Grisham Edwards ’70
Patricia LaNeil Grisham Edwards ’70 passed away Nov. 30. She was the sister of Eleanor Grisham Dugger ’51. In 1955, she became the wife of a military officer and put her goal to obtain a degree on hold. In 1970, she became a licensed realtor and broker in Texas and Virginia. She enjoyed outstanding success in that endeavor, ultimately owning a real estate brokerage in northern Virginia. She sold the brokerage in 1990 when she and her husband decided to retire and return to Texas. LaNeil had the opportunity to serve the City of Lakeway as council member and numerous other organizations. In Dec. 2009, the mayor selected her to receive Lakeway’s Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her many years as a volunteer in the city and a multitude of other civic and social organizations. She was a member of Lakeway Church for more than 20 years. She served the church membership as a trustee before the current elder/deacon leadership was adopted.
